Imagine the scenario: The door station is part of your IP network. Call, speech and video signals from the door are transmitted to the network and received by the client software. The PC assumes all the functions of an indoor call station including video display, door release, switching functions and status messages. No additional in-house telephones are required - but can be added at any time.
In a mixed-use building, for instance, a lawyer’s chambers can fulfil all its door communication needs using the PC, while the residential apartments are still fitted with classic in-house telephones. And using in conjunction with a TC interface, DoorCom Analog opens up scope for further allocation of different functions: The video image is displayed at the PC while the public network telephone takes charge of voice contact and the door release function - even when the PC is switched off.
The whole range of possibilities for door communication and IP network connection are explained in the brochure "Getting connected".

The virtual call station is as clearly intuitive and easy to operate in the normal mode as any Siedle call station. However, the software is equipped to also perform far more complex tasks. Two flip-out windows display status messages or assume switching and control functions. |

Free selection at the door: Siedle DoorCom-IP connects the entrance door to the IP network - without any restrictions in the choice of door station. The interface works in conjunction with all Siedle product series. The only exception are the Compact Sets. |
